Bio

Susan Katz is a certified business coach and CEO of THE GROWTH COACH OF BALTIMORE.

Susan has over 30 years of publishing experience, beginning in sales and progressing into product development and management. She spent the last 20 years as a vice president with two major publishing firms, responsible for growing small businesses within a large corporation. Her success stemmed from her understanding of key business drivers and her dynamic and effective approach to staff development.

Because her passion is working with people to help them develop both professionally and personally, Susan left corporate life to pursue full-time business coaching. As a coach, Susan helps people achieve new levels of success by helping them gain clarity, turn limiting beliefs into empowering beliefs, develop a focused plan of action and create strategic changes in their businesses and lives, allowing them to earn more and work less.

Susan is a member of the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Women Business Owners and the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Susan sits on the advisory board for the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business Entrepreneurial Opportunity Center, the Board of Associates for Kid’s Peace, a non-profit foster care agency and serves as a volunteer coach at the University of Baltimore coaching program for new entrepreneurs.

Susan was named the 2009 Growth Coach Best Franchise in a New Market, and the 2010 Growth Coach Franchise of the Year. In addition, Susan received the 2010 Rising Star Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners Baltimore Regional Chapter and has been recognized as one of the 2011 Maryland’s Top 100 Women.

In her spare time she enjoys dining out, leisure travel, exercise and spending time with her family. Susan’s key to success is in believing that everyone has unique strengths and talents, and that anything is possible as long as you believe in yourself.
